Test gas for optical smoke detector - RM0010
With this accessory, you can check to see whether or not your optical smoke detector is functioning. An optical smoke detector reacts to visible smoke particles. Inside the measuring chamber of the optical smoke detector, an integrated infrared light source generates a pulse of light every 8 seconds. If too much smoke enters this measuring chamber, the pulse of light is changed. A relay switches and the detector and/or alarm center reports a fire alarm. With the test gas, you can simulate these smoke particles in order to test your smoke detector. Important: The spray distance must be at least 30 cm.The contents of the bottle are sufficient for approx. 100 smoke detector tests.
