The optical wireless smoke detector reacts to smoke particles. This indicator is reliably detected and reported to the wireless alarm center.The optical wireless smoke detector is mounted on the ceiling in the center of the room. Its detection range is 40m². It is recommended that you have a smoke detector in every hallway, staircase, living room and bedroom. The optical smoke detector detects smoke particles that enter its measuring chamber. The wireless smoke detector is integrated in the alarm system and it always occupies a zone that is monitored even when the system is disarmed. In addition to the alarm via the center, the integrated Piezo alarm generator also provides an alarm.With corresponding batteries (two CR123 3V lithium) the wireless smoke detector has a service life of approx. 12 months. The service life varies depending on how often you test the detector's functions. It is recommended that you test it once a week. A weak battery is signalled by the detector by means of regular beeping tones.
