IR illuminator MEGA-LED S discrete - TV6816
No camera provides pictures without light. With the discrete IR illuminator MEGA-LED S, you provide your camera with the light needed for your recordings, even in total darkness. To ensure that your cameras provide clear images even in the dark, you need (infrared) light. With a wave length of 940nm and 21 LEDs, the IR illuminator MEGA-LED S provides the infrared light that is needed for recording at night. The IR illuminator is suitable for both black and white and day/night cameras. The range of the IR light illuminator depends on the sensitivity of the camera to light. For 0.01 lux, the range is around 20 meters. For 0.1 lux, the range is 10 meters. The beam angle is 25°x25°. The LEDs have a very long service life of 5 years (50,000 h). The IR illuminator MEGA-LED S is dust-proof and protected against spraying water (IP 66). It can therefore be used outdoors with no problems (at temperatures between -30°C and + 40°C). Its maximum power consumption is 4.2 W. The IR illuminator detects the onset of darkness via an integrated light sensor and automatically switches on. If there is sufficient daylight, it switches off. For the MEGA-LED S (TV6816) there is a discrete IR illuminator . The wave length of this illuminator (approx. 949 nm) is somewhat longer than the wave length of a semi-discrete illuminator (880 nm) of the same type (TV6815). The advantage of the discrete illuminator is that it has hidden LEDs. The discrete illuminator MEGA-LED S is therefore used wherever an inconspicuous illuminator is needed.
